Welcome To The Killer Bee Studios
Killer Bee Studios is a creative space designed for connection and collaboration in the Metaverse. This studio is a place where we'll discuss life stories and share our God experiences with people all around the world, and you get to be a part of that journey and mission.
What Is Horizon Worlds?
Horizon is the app we use to connect with people from around the world in the Metaverse. It is a Meta-based platform that allows you to build, create, and connect. Click play on the video to learn more about Horizon Worlds.
Get To Know Horizon & The Oculus
Below you will find a list of short videos and guidance on safety in Horizon, adjusting the Oculus to fit your head, how to connect to your wifi, controller outline, and how to create your guardian area.
Horizon Safety Video
Check out this video to learn more about the VR guidelines and how you can use the safety features to help keep Horizon a safe place for everyone.
Adjusting The Oculus Headset to Fit Your Mug
Comfortable Fit: After you've unboxed the VR headset, next you'll want to adjust the headset to fit your unique mug. If you wear glasses, you'll want to put on the headset from the front of your head first. Check out this video for tips!
Connecting To Your Wifi
Using Quest 2 requires Wi-Fi. No worries, setting that up is easy!
Press the Oculus button on your right Touch controller, which brings up the universal menu. Then, point at the clock on the left side of the menu, which pulls up the Quick Settings panel. Next, choose Wi-Fi, toggle it on, and pick the network you want to connect to. Then enter the password using the pop-up keyboard. Finally, select Connect.
Basic Oculus Controls
The controllers include a pair of thumbsticks and analog triggers that will feel familiar to many. Below are a few general things to know about these buttons on Horizon Worlds:
- Thumbstick: Use your thumbsticks to navigate around virtual environments.
- Triggers: The trigger on the front of both controllers, and the A and X buttons, lets you select objects. The B and Y buttons bring you back to the previous screen or menu.
- Oculus button: Pressing the Oculus button pops up the universal menu. Holding the button recenters your view.
- Grip button: Pressing the Grip button on the side of the controller makes a fist or grasps objects with your virtual hand.

Set Your Guardian
Quest 2 requires setting up Roomscale in Guardian, which defines a safe play boundary. You can also use Quest 2 in Stationary Mode and play seated or standing still. Check out the video to learn more.

Content Distribution
After your interview, our team will share your God experience story in multiple ways. We offer a featured music wall in the Killer Bee Studios if you are an artist. The featured music wall has headsets visitors can use to hear music samples if provided. The wall will also include a list of how visitors can stream your music. All music artists will be given the opportunity to perform a couple of songs live after the interview if they choose.
Our team will record the live event to edit/publish the audio playback on "The Stories We Live" podcast. We will also create video highlights to share across social media platforms.
